If you have a newborn and you are here reading this, are you restless all night worrying about your baby in their nursery? Do you feel like you wake up every 5 minutes to look at the baby monitor? Or, are you are soon to be parent that is concerned about the safety of your baby? Do you want your baby to be close to you while you sleep? The only way that your baby can stay close to you and sleep safety and soundly is with….
A Co-Sleeper.
Well sorry no anymore! With Co-sleepers you can ensure your child stays with you at all times. Also, you can tend to their needs at all times which makes it super useful.
For me buying a co-sleeper was a huge relief. Primarily because I admittedly am a very lazy person. Also, because the moment I would get on my bed my baby would start to cry. Waking up, walking to the bassinet to cradle her then seemed like a Herculean task. It was a good thing I started reading about co-sleepers and how awesome they are. For those who are new to the concept let me break it down for you and which ones I would recommend.
The Difference Between Co Sleepers and Bassinets
A co-sleeper can be attached to your bed or be kept on it. On the other hand a bassinet is more of a stand-alone bed for your baby. It stays detached from your bed, meaning nursing would require you to wake up from your bed and walk to the bassinet. However, the latter works great when you don’t trust yourself when you are sleeping, since it tags along the dreaded rolling over issue.
You can find yourself a Good Bassinet Here.
Coming out of the bassinet conundrum, I decided to give co-sleeper a shot. And what do you know? It solved almost all of my problems within a split second. My baby was right next to me. I could nurse her whenever she cried. I was literally an arm’s length away. I could embrace her and play with her without having to get out of my bed. All I had to do was just turn to face her. As simple as that!
Alternatively, if you are unsure as to a co sleeper or bassinet, other handy options for your newborn baby are a convertible mini crib, or even a moses basket and stand set that serves both a carrier and sleeping option.
In my hunt to find the perfect co-sleeper I came across many brilliant ones that I have listed here.
