Now that my second born is getting older (2 going on 20!) with plenty of tantrums and tears. My husband and I decided that we should upgrade her current high chair to one that provides her (and us) a little more independence. We gave our current high chair to my mother in law and decided to upgrade to this Boon Flair high chair that I thought just looked awesome! Yes, it may seem a little pricey, but don’t forget what ‘they’ say – you get what you pay for! And for practicality – this high chair, so far (we’ve only had it for about 1 month) is proving to be A++ in terms of practicality!
And if you are thinking whether you can use this high chair for younger ages – of course! It’s just that my husband and I couldn’t afford it at the time of having our first born. But indeed, you can use this high chair from when your children are younger.
And plus, don’t forget that as our children get older, just the fact of trying to keep them still to feed them is a mission, let alone when you have a younger baby to breastfeed. So upgrading our toddler to a chair that she likes and grabs her attention and ‘feels proud’ to sit in like a big girl, was a big factor as to why we bought this more quality toddler high chair for her.

Among all the baby products that I have bought over the years I think that this hands down is the best baby product I have ever had. Probably one of the best modern high chairs anyone can ever lay their eyes on; the Boon Flair Pedestal high chair. Before we head on to the rather quirky and not really the usual design for a high chair, we’ll talk functionality first. Plus, who doesn’t love variety of colors and something a little different to spice things up, it isn’t called the Flair high chair for nothing?
Why I Love This High Chair
Firstly, can actually pretty much glide this high chair across the room without scratches at all. It can also glide smoothly to any direction one wishes to go to. It was a breeze to transfer the kids high chair anywhere and you can basically feed your child or seat them anywhere.
Judging by the design of the Boon Flair high chair, you might think that if your baby is a bit too squirmish and too hyperactive, they might fall off. Well, first off, any high chair has the possibility to fall off if we aren’t too careful and second, trust me, they won’t fall out.
My girl is really really really hyperactive and he does move a lot at almost anywhere possible to man. In his crib, potty, and yes, even on this Boon Flair high chair; yet so far, nothing has happened to him and I’m pretty sure that it would stay that way. This high chair has proved to be one of the sturdiest and safest high chairs I have ever seen, especially when I compare it to my friends high chairs. (Still, that doesn’t mean that that should serve as an excuse to leave your child unattended).
Another thing is you can adjust this Boon Flair pedestal high chair it to any height you want, given that it looks like a stool. There’s a red button on the pedestal base that if you step on it, the chair goes lower and if you pull the chair up, it goes higher. Kind of like, an office chair in a sense. You know? That’s pretty much the best thing I can describe this chair with. It works like an office chair but looks like a stool for babies. Perfect! You can’t get an easier to use high chair.
And in saying that, this pedestal high chair offers more features that your ordinary highchair. Also, there’s the tray which is neither too big nor too small. Plus, you can set it in different levels, compared to other highchairs offered in the market that only has pretty much fixed range for a certain age.
This Boon Flair high seat itself is pretty easy to clean and it is detachable in case you might want to wash it or if your baby made a mess all over the chair, it wouldn’t be too hard to reach the areas that are normally quite tough to reach. It also has a pretty good harness support so you can be certain that your baby does not fall off even if he or she becomes too squirmish.
This is simply the best high chair I have ever tried (and I’ve had two kids now) and it definitely was worth every penny that I spent. A little more expensive than the average high chair but you pay for what you get. Remember – high chairs are high and you are placing your baby in it, take it from an experiencde parent, you don’t want to compromise on quality and safety and that is what you get with this safe and modern high chair for kids. My friends noticed this, who are parents themselves as well, and kept on constantly asking me (sometimes to the point of annoyance) where I got this chair and how much it was. I just tell them the brand and they buy it online as most times with free shipping.
If I am to rate this chair, it would be 10/10 because it simply is the best. Can’t you tell I think so highly of it? Wink Wink.
Talk about timing, I just purchased one of these too! Couldn’t be any more practical. Worth every cent!
